For me, the heart of Blue Ridge is Lake Blue Ridge itself. Lake Blue Ridge has over 3,000 acres of the cleanest, prettiest water you’ll find anywhere in the Southeast, and some of the best fishing too! Plus, with over 85% of the shoreline preserved as national forest, we don’t get the crowds you find at other more developed lakes. Even on a weekend you’ll often feel like you have the whole lake to yourself! I’m proud to be an owner myself on Lake Blue Ridge for almost 10 years now, and when I’m not out showing property and writing contracts you’ll find me out on a boat wake surfing or cocktail cruising. I’m also thrilled and proud to be raising my three precious boys in Blue Ridge, with its excellent school system, and our very own flying trapeze rig in our backyard! I love Moscow Mules, spicy tequila, and artisan cheeses. l go kite boarding in the Dominican Republic whenever I can, and recently participated in an amazing entrepreneurs networking group called Mai Tai, through which I had the incredible opportunity to meet Sir Richard Branson, founder of Virgin Airlines. His Necker Island Resort and Virgin Limited Edition properties are an inspiration in how to provide world-class vacation experiences to guests, something I have applied to my own rentals right here in Blue Ridge.
